Restoration #1

Picture
Picture
In 1985, I decided to restore the VW. I started by putting in new floorboards, carpet and a new paint job and a new top and liner. At left is my Son helping with painting the prime coat. I did all the restoration work except a good friend helped me paint the car in the front yard.

We painted:
4 Coats of Ultra Fill Primer
4 Coats of DuPont Centra Acrylic Enamel - Clemintine
3 Coats of DuPont Centra Urethane Enamel - Clear
